Current Opportunities

We often get asked if there are volunteering opportunities available with WRT, and we have three exciting ones open at the moment! We have had a good think about what skills or roles would help us to achieve our goals at the moment, and have come up with opportunities that would suit an architect, a graphic designer and a marketer.

Architect or Building Designer

We have big plans to make Wirra-lo accessible to the public, and we are seeking an architect who aligns with our values to plan structures, including a multi-purpose education facility.

Our focus is on having a multi-functional space to host educational other events, with a small footprint, sustainable and recycled materials.

Graphic Designer

Our popular Wetland Plant Identification and Ecology course comes with a field guide to plants of the Southern Murray Darling Basin. We have had many suggestions that we turn it into a book, and we would love to do just that and be able to share it beyond our course participants!

We are looking for an InDesign wizard to help us set-up a template and lay it out.

Marketer

Are you a marketer looking to donate some time or do some pro-bono work?

We have identified that we could use expertise in any of the following: social media content creation, Facebook and Google Ads set-up.

Ideally we would love to work with someone on an ongoing, part-time basis, but we are also open to project based work!
