We are pleased to open up bookings for a new cohort of participants for the Wetland Plant Identification and Ecology Course for 2026-27. This popular course offers 3 separate days of instruction across 7 months to experience the changing nature of wetlands and their wetting and drying cycle. Each of the days will feature the same wetland in a different season – Spring, Summer and Autumn – at different water levels to appreciate the annual growing cycle.
The course offers two streams – Wednesdays (28 October 2026, 2 December 2026 and 14 April 2027) and Thursdays (29 Octoer 2026, 3 December 2026 and 15 Apriil 2027). The course will be held again at Wirra-lo, a protected property restored through a partnership between Wetland Revival and local First Nations staff, located 30 minutes north of Kerang near the junction of the Loddon and Murray Rivers.
